The Government of Malaysia has implemented the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) to regulate the processing of personal data in commercial transactions. PDPA applies to all companies and firms established in Malaysia and it requires us to inform you of your rights in respect of your personal data that have been collected and is being processed by us, and the purposes for the processing. PDPA also requires us to obtain your consent to the processing of your personal data.

We wish to inform that the personal data and other information (collectively “Personal Data”) previously collected in connection with your on boarding to the platform, will continue to be used and processed by People Media Sdn. Bhd (ADIL) for the following purposes: -

• To communicate with you;
• To provide services to you;
• To process your payment transactions;
• Respond to your enquiries;
• Market survey and trend analysis;
• To provide you with information on new services of ADIL;
• Other legitimate business activities of ADIL; and/or
• Such other purposes as set out in ADIL Terms and Conditions

(collectively the "Purposes").

Please note that it will be necessary for ADIL to process your Personal Data, without which the due performance under your engagement to the ADIL platform will be affected.

Also, please be informed that if, required of the above purposes, your Personal Data may be transferred to locations outside Malaysia or disclosed to our related corporations, business partners and/or service providers who may be located within or outside Malaysia. Save for the foregoing, your Personal Data will not be knowingly transferred to any place outside Malaysia or knowingly disclosed to any third party except in accordance with the PDPA.

We will take practical steps to protect your Personal Data which is in our custody.

We will not retain your Personal Data longer than necessary for the fulfilment of the original purposes for which it was collected. Your Personal Data will be permanently destroyed and/or deleted if no longer required.

You may at any time hereafter, upon payment of a prescribed fee, make any enquiry, request for access to, or correction of your Personal Data or limit the processing of your Personal Data via by submitting such request by emailing to [email protected]

For the user who have registered to access and use ADIL, they may access/amend/update their Personal Data as registered in the ADIL upon registering and logging in to the Platform. The user shall ensure that their Personal Data as registered in ADIL is accurate, complete and up to date. Any modification to the Personal Data as registered in ADIL shall be made by the user.

If we do not receive any response from you on the above within fourteen (14) days of the date of this notice, we shall assume that you have given consent to ADIL to process your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Notice.
